The PlayhouseSquare District Development Corporation (PDDC) will host the 10th Annual PlayhouseSquare Block Party and Tour, Friday, September 11, 5:30-9:30 pm. The PDDC is a not-for-profit organization comprised of PlayhouseSquare building owners and area stakeholders who create and implement plans which establish and maintain the district as an exciting destination.

This year’s district wide end of summer outdoor event is held at Star Plaza for district neighbors, friends and co-workers for an evening of pure joy and fun.

Your ticket will include:

Food: Enjoy Taste of Excellence Catering featuring Johnsonville Brats & Shear’s snacks and food samplings from area restaurants. A full cash bar will also be available on Star Plaza.

Entertainment: Presented by the Downtown Cleveland Alliance Sparx Concert Series with live music at Star Plaza by State Fair and Cats on Holiday. PLUS roaming the entire district will be Sparx performers and entertainers. Entertainment will kick-off the downtown Sparx City Hop the next day.  The City Hop will explore and celebrate the visual, culinary and performing arts of Cleveland’s Down and Aroundtown neighborhoods on Saturday, September 12. Tour: This year's tour includes a walking tour throughout the newly renovated Wyndham Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare, the new first floor space of Liggett Stashower located in the LS Brand Building at Star Plaza and a stop to shop and party at M Lang Executive Attire and Lounge. While touring, guests will witness unique lighting effects, created by Future Lights that will enhance the exterior and interior party site locations. Also, stop by the Ohio Theater where the Community Engagement and Education Department at PlayhouseSquare is offering a free public performance of the Dance Showcase.

Prizes: Attendees that visit the touring sites are eligible to win an “Overnight Theater Package for Two ”that includes an overnight stay, breakfast and theater tickets from the Wyndham Cleveland at PlayhouseSquare and clothing gift certificates from M Lang Executive Attire & Lounge.

Tickets are $25 (plus handling) and will benefit the PlayhouseSquare District Development Corporation.
